Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Arrival at Entebbe Airport where you will be met by one of our staff and your guide, transfer to your overnight hotel in Kampala where you will receive a briefing for the following day, Dinner and overnight at Hotel Rush (BB)
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast at 8.00am, transfer by private 4X4 vehicle from Kampala to the Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi with few en-route stopovers at the Uganda Equator and Mburo Park. Lunch will be en-route in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. Depending on the available time, you may opt for a short guided walk at the Museum to take a look at the culture and tradition of western Uganda. Later proceed to for your overnight stay near the Gorilla Park or the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Transit Time: 6-7 hours. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Overnight at Crater Bay Cottages (FB)
Day 3: Bwindi-Gorilla tracking
5 30am: Breakfast.
6 00am: Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing from park ranger guides.
8:00am: Start the gorilla tracking. This may take between 2 hours to 8 hours depending on how soon you reach these endangered species. You will enjoy your packed lunch in the forest. Later, return to your overnight accommodation. Depending on the time available, you may opt for a canoe ride or Motor boat around Lake Bunyonyi where you will also have a chance of seeing a number of birds and Islands. Day 4: To Kampala-overnight stay
After breakfast at 8.30am, return to Kampala with Lunch en-route and you will be dropped at your overnight accommodation in Kampala. Meal plan-Breakfast & Lunch. Transit Time 6-7 Hours. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Rush (BB)
Day 5: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Breakfast at 7.30am, check out and transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary north of Kampala. The sanctuary has been established to breed black and white rhino which got extinct in the country due to heavy poaching in the early 80s. You will spend some time with Rhinos. Lunch at the sanctuary and after, return to Kampala and proceed to Entebbe for overnight stay. Meal plan-Breakfast & Lunch. Overnight at Lake Victoria Serena Hotel (BB)
Day 6: Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary-Entebbe Departure
Breakfast at 7.30am, after transfer for briefing at Ngamba offices before transferring to Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary by boat On arrival, you will participate in the Chimp viewing as they feed. You will tour the facility and its section plus a high chance of viewing a number of bird species. Lunch at the center and after take a boat ride back to Entebbe arriving around 4pm. Your waiting vehicle will continue with you and drop you at the airport for your return flight. Meal plan-Breakfast & Lunch.
